New releases of MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin demanded new versions of XAMPP. Both XAMPP versions mentioned above now containing new versions of MySQL (4.1.11), PHP (4.3.11 and 5.0.4) and phpMyAdmin (2.6.1-pl3).
