Gästebücher sind cool und auch wir wollten eins haben. Bei der Entwicklung unseres
Gästebuchs ist mir aufgefallen, dass bestehende Web-Gästebücher neben dem eigentlichen
Text mindestens noch nach einem Namen fragen, evtl.
noch nach einer E-Mail-Adresse und evtl. sogar noch nach einer Überschrift.
Gästebücher in der realen Welt tun das nicht. Sie bieten nur leere Seiten und Platz
um seine Nachricht an die folgende Öffentlichkeit zu hinterlassen. Man stelle sich
mal ein reales Gästebuch in Formularform vor... *kopfschüttel*
Die Folge dieser Gedanken ist dieses Gästebuch. Es bietet also einfach nur Platz an. Keine Formulare, keine Vorgaben
und somit freie Bahn für die eigene Kreativität.
Was und wie jemand schreibt ist ganz alleine sein (oder ihr) Ding. Bitte also nicht vergessen auch
sowas wie seinen Namen anzugeben. ;)
PS: HTML wird nicht erlaubt! ;)
PPS: Ganz alte Gästebucheinträge findet ihr hier. (Absichtlich - als Konserve - noch im alten
Design.)

Very nice work with XAMPP, I run 6 clients, with 6 MySQL DBs, FileZilla Server, and some torrent apps on an old P3, and they fly. With IIS, I would have only been able to run 1 site, and it would have been slow.

Hi to all the good folks responsible for this web site, the great product you freely distribute and the support I'm sure to need once I get seriously started on my newest project. This is one of the most easily navigable sites I've run across in my years on the internet. My first experience with computers was when Bell of PA sent me to a computer school in 1970. I retired as a Sr. Project Engineer recently and I can honestly say the best thing the Bell did for me was to send me to that school so many years ago. Since 1970 work=computers and hobby=computers. Well, looks very good. I have not yet installed, but soon.
I will be checking back to see if Perl vs Apache get's fixed.

I use Apache and MySql from your distribution under Mandriva Linux. Virtual hosts in Apache are set-up to get to Plone and JBoss. Citadel works fine for email server. I use no-ip service to point to my dynamic IP on HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop.

could you guys make this into the xampp package many people try to use video sharing scripts with xampp like me but fail to install everything. would be greatful if these are pre-comlied and already installed with xampp and please not the linux versions im sick and tried from reading howtos for nix machines. we need windows versions

real nice system, need help with the FTP tool, so i can create my own FTP to go between locations im at, coz i work on the go as an international buisnessman and my firm wont give me an FTP, coz even THEY dont know how... anyways, Good job with the tool, realy helps me out when im making my own webbies, thankyou.

XAAMPP is the ONLY Apache + MySQL + PHP pack that worked on my computer. And the most neat function is abillity to run in without installation. Thanks, thanks, thanks! :)
