Gästebücher sind cool und auch wir wollten eins haben. Bei der Entwicklung unseres
Gästebuchs ist mir aufgefallen, dass bestehende Web-Gästebücher neben dem eigentlichen
Text mindestens noch nach einem Namen fragen, evtl.
noch nach einer E-Mail-Adresse und evtl. sogar noch nach einer Überschrift.
Gästebücher in der realen Welt tun das nicht. Sie bieten nur leere Seiten und Platz
um seine Nachricht an die folgende Öffentlichkeit zu hinterlassen. Man stelle sich
mal ein reales Gästebuch in Formularform vor... *kopfschüttel*
Die Folge dieser Gedanken ist dieses Gästebuch. Es bietet also einfach nur Platz an. Keine Formulare, keine Vorgaben
und somit freie Bahn für die eigene Kreativität.
Was und wie jemand schreibt ist ganz alleine sein (oder ihr) Ding. Bitte also nicht vergessen auch
sowas wie seinen Namen anzugeben. ;)

PPS: Ganz alte Gästebucheinträge findet ihr hier. (Absichtlich - als Konserve - noch im alten
Design.)

XAMPP rocks! Thank you for all the hard work and dedication that went into assembling this package. OS independence is always a big plus. Had I not used XAMPP in Windows, I'm not sure that I would have thought to use it when I came to my senses and switched to Linux. I very much appreciate that the Linux instructions are clear and easy to understand (Including the notes about not letting Windows muck about with the download of a Linux version).

Hi everyone, I have been using xampp for the past 5 years to develop and deploy LAMP based application at work.
So a big thanks for the consistency from version to version, the uniformity between linux and windows, and the backup feature that still allow me today to install or recover anything in less than 10 min.

I use XAMPP 1.7.3 for Windows in my PCs for more than one year. I can not imagine web development without it. I test all my pages on XAMPP. No matter what kind of page is : hobby, professional, etc. XAMP 1.7.3 is an excellent work, though I had to replace the Mercury with an older version.

XAMPP is an amazing tool. I have it installed on two machines. It is true, Apache is hard to install on Windows. But XAMPP greatly simplifies that, and it comes with MySQL and PHP too!
