Thanks guys,Xampp is great, it takes ALL the hassles out of configuring a WAMP setup, it lets me get on with my coding instead of spending time configuring my box.

This is a fantastic product! I'm an intermediate noobie, and still have a lot to learn. I haven't been able to open my site in xampp yet, but I know I will figure it out eventually. Anyway, thank you folks for recognizing a need and filling it! The OS world still needs a lot more people like you...

Jammer dat een downloading op vista moeilijk of zelfs helemaal mis gaat.
Dat doet de boeken geen goed en praktisch onbruikbaar

Very nice work with XAMPP, I run 6 clients, with 6 MySQL DBs, FileZilla Server, and some torrent apps on an old P3, and they fly. With IIS, I would have only been able to run 1 site, and it would have been slow.

Hi to all the good folks responsible for this web site, the great product you freely distribute and the support I'm sure to need once I get seriously started on my newest project. This is one of the most easily navigable sites I've run across in my years on the internet. My first experience with computers was when Bell of PA sent me to a computer school in 1970. I retired as a Sr. Project Engineer recently and I can honestly say the best thing the Bell did for me was to send me to that school so many years ago. Since 1970 work=computers and hobby=computers. Well, looks very good. I have not yet installed, but soon.
I will be checking back to see if Perl vs Apache get's fixed.
Can't have everything work I suppose, atleast not on first couple tries. :)

Very easy to setup. Makes even easier to use Ampache, Jinzora, MediaWiki, etc...

I use Apache and MySql from your distribution under Mandriva Linux. Virtual hosts in Apache are set-up to get to Plone and JBoss. Citadel works fine for email server. I use no-ip service to point to my dynamic IP on HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop.

Thank you, Windows installer was easy and straight forward, working on Vista.
Have tried: Abyss Web Server (X1) & WAMP love your compliation including Mercury.
