Come in un guestbook reale non è consentito l'input HTML.
Un messaggio a tutti gli spammer: gli URL in questo libro degli ospiti sono automaticamente rimossi.

Your installer was wonderful. I tried several other methods to get a server and PHP running on my machine to test PHP and had nothing but problems. I spent several hours trying to configure servers and it just wasn't working. A friend informed me of apachefriends and I was up and running in mere minutes. Thanks for providing such a wonderful application! I'll link you up when I've completed my latest PHP project.

Thank you for making it so easy to set up a WAMP in Windows XP with xampp. I had set up my home computer by hand last year and it took a long time to get it all working. I downloaded xampp on my work computer today and was set up in less than 3 minutes. Great work. Thank you for saving me so much time.

Thanks, Oswald, for the comment about the false positive on PV.EXE. The problem, however, is that my antivirus + antispyware AUTOMATICALLY removes this file, since it is classified as a hacking tool... Is PV.exe a critical file in XAMPP? What does it do? How can we solve this problem? What functions will be unavailable if (as it happens to me) the file is removed by the antispyware software as soon as it finds it?
By the way, my antivirus software is not Trendmicro, but Panda...
So we have TWO differents tools claiming to have found the same hacking tool...

i also have problems using old php4 code due to some weird problem with cookies but i guess that is php5.0.2 specific....

Upon installing xampp the virus HKTL_PRCVIEW.B was found at xampp\apache\bin\pv.exe
I guess that is what I get for trying to take an easy way out.

What a lucky man I am to have found XAMPP.
I have tried some other programs that promise to "easily install Apache, PHP & mySQL" but yours is the first to keep that promise.
I was surprised enough to even find that it worked on XP home, unlike other software.
I use PHP & mySQL with Flash so Ill be sure to recommend your product to others.

XAMPP is a delightful product. I was searching for an easy to install Apache server to do PHP/MySQL testing. I used a battered olf Pentium/500 with 256Mb runing on W98. Installation was a breeze, This has proven to be a stable, reliable and well integrated set of applications for the purpose.
We should support this project and this product.
