Erste Beta vom neuen XAMPP 1.5.4 (für Linux)

Die erste Beta-Versionen von XAMPP für Linux steht zum öffentlichen Download in unsererem XAMPP-BETA-Bereich bereit. Neu in dieser Beta sind: Apache 2.2.3, MySQL 5.0.22, PHP 4.4.3 und phpMyAdmin 2.8.2.

Beta-Versionen sind ausschließlich zum Ausprobieren und Testen da. Wir würden uns allerdings sehr freuen wenn ihr einen kritischen Blick auf diese Version werfen könntet und uns berichtet, ob die Beta bei euch problemlos lief oder sie Probleme gemacht hat.

Hi Oswald,

super läuft bei mir auf Mandriva 2007 Beta 1 ohne Probleme (installation/server usw)...bei andren Systemen muß ich leider aufs Updatepaket warten, sonst wirds zu viel hin und herschieben.

Wie wärs, wenn man bei dem php configure noch --enable-inline-optimation hinzunimmt, und bei Apache --enable-nonportable-atomics? Am besten verkriech ich mich schon mal..

Die PHP-Option kannte ich noch gar nicht. Da muss ich erst mal nachlesen, was die bedeutet. Die Apache-Optimierung wird es aber nicht geben, da dadurch XAMPP nicht mehr auf alten Prozessoren funktionieren wird. Okay, irgendwann kann man das sicherlich auch aufgeben, aber im Moment ist es m. E. noch zu früh.

das mit apache versteh ich, dann compilier ichs einfach nachträglich rein, klappt ja ohne probs beim xampp paket mit apache, bei php hab ich da mehr probleme, da ich ne lib einfach nirgends finde auf ftps/rpm suchmaschinen usw.

mir ist gerade aufgefallen das in der Beta zwei etc-Verzeichnisse mit Apache-Configdatei vorhanden sind.
Ich rede von /opt/lampp/etc und /opt/lampp/etc-apache
Ich glaube das das nicht richtig ist.

hab gestern mal die neuste beta über eine aktuelle 1.5.3a installiert, danach lies sich apache nicht mehr starten - gab auch keine fehlermeldung oder ein startlog / errorlog
