Because I have several XAMPP versions installed for testing I have each version installed to their own version folder for example...
version 1.7.7 installed to G:\xampp177
...which breaks most of the perl .bat and .pm file functions because they contain the preferred installation location path of the xampp folder, for example:
This is not adjusted by the use of the setup_xampp.bat file or the installer, which is a real shame as the bat and installer are the perfect medium for making the custom path adjustments as they do throughout the rest of the XAMPP components.
Some 2447 matches for the path \xampp\ and /xampp/ were found when I last did a search.
This came to light when I needed to run ppm.bat and cpan.bat to test a posters issues.
This hard coding in Perl breaks the ability to add new modules and much more.
I doubt if there is anything you can do about this for the next release, is there?
