php.ini not working

Hi Folks,

I changed my PHP.INI in /etc/php5/ from upload_max_filesize = 2M to upload_max_filesize = 4M

But I still can not load bigger files than 2M.. So I checked the configuration in phpinfo.php:

upload_max_filesize 2M (local) 2M (Master)

The Config-Directory is the same /etc/php5/

Other webservers have no Problems with that, but this one (set up by a different person) bugs me really

Do you have restartet Apache after the change in the php.ini?

More than once. I even restarted the server just to check o0

maybe you can copy a php.ini from the other server?

don't ask me...

I just thought, when the others are working, why not copying them. May be ther was a spelling mistake or something was not set correctly??
