Hallo zusammen,

ich habe ein Problem mit dem ausführen von phpize.
Beim Aufruf von phpize bricht er mit dieser Fehlermeldung ab:

(root@meiner) phpize
Configuring for:
PHP Api Version: 20041225
Zend Module Api No: 20060613
Zend Extension Api No: 220060519
/usr/local/bin/autoconf: /usr/local/bin/autom4te: not found

Beide Dateien sind in dem Verzeichnis!

BS: Solaris 10
Autoconf ist in Version 2.63 installiert
PHP ist in Version 5.2.1 installiert

MfG

Guten Tag Anselm,

I am sorry, mein Deutch ist nicht gut! :?

However, in case you are able to understand or translate English, I will share with you my solution:

Possibly the simplest solution is to create a symbolic link from /usr/local/bin/perl to the actual perl interpreter that you intend for the system to use.

However, my approach was more drastic, and I was able to solve it using this method:

1. edit /usr/local/bin/autom4te, and modify the path to the perl interpreter, such that it points to a valid perl interpreter on your system. I think this is in 3 places.
2. edit /usr/local/bin/autoheader, and modify the path to the perl interpreter, such that it points to a valid perl interpreter on your system. I think this is also referenced 3 times in this file

I'd like to give credit to Arpee Ong for his article leading me find this and fix it on my system. Here is the article which helped me:

Good Luck!

Mike
