uninstalling Xampp

I've tried to uninstall xampp through the control panel, uninstall applications. The xampp folder won't uninstall, nor an I delete it.

I am running windows 7

If you go into the "xampp" folder and run "xampp-control.exe" (XAMPP Control Panel), are any of the services still running? You will probably need to stop them before you can remove the folder. Also, make sure the "svc" column to the left of each item is NOT ticked. Exit the XAMPP control Panel and see if you can remove the folder.
