The application is failed to initialized properly...........

i install xampp properly but when i start the xampp control panel and click the apache start button then this a error message shown written

"The application is failed to initialized properly(0xc0150002). click ok to terminate the application."

mysql runs ok. i format my windows drive and i try to install it again but the problem happen again. please help me. i use windows xp sp3 and xampp 1.5 basic package.

Have you tried XAMPP 1.6 instead of the 1.5 version?

The next time try to Stop/Start your apache server from the Services option, in Windows is found under Control Panel/Administrative Tools. That tells you if is a problem with XAMPP's Panel or Apache itself.

In Administrative Tools you can find Event Viewer as well, click on it, then click on Application and check what it says on all Red Crossed errors. It givces you an idea, then Google the error.

Thanks for reply me. i try to install xampp version 1.6.5 but the error continuous any idea. bye
