 New version of XAMPP for Windows (1.4)
New in this version: Apache 2.0.49, MySQL 4.0.18, mod_perl 1.99_13, mod_ssl 2.0.49, Openssl 0.9.7d, PHPMyAdmin 2.5.6.
Warning for Windows 98/ME: My system was "frozen" after starting the apache 2.0.49. I have tried my compilation and the official binary from the apache group. But always the same problem with my windows 98 (SE). Perhaps a bug in Apache version 2.0.49? So windows 98 user should prefer the MiniXAMPP 1.4 with the apache 2.0.48. [kvo - March, 26th 2004]
